Our farm stand is open from July 1 through mid October 2023, seven days a week, 10 am to 6 pm on weekdays and 10am to 5pm on weekends. We are currently CLOSED for the season.

If you’re looking for the freshest vegetables, fruit, sweet corn, and flowers, our farm stand is the place! We’ve been in business since 1960, and have built a local reputation for the best produce available.

We begin in the early summer with sweet corn, cucumbers (both pickling and salad types,) summer squash, fresh basil, parsley, sage, lavender, and cilantro, radishes, beets, kale, Swiss chard, juicy berries, baby potatoes, and garlic. High summer brings us the addition of red and heirloom tomatoes, eggplant, sweet and hot peppers, peaches, nectarines, summer apples, blueberries, green beans, and the coveted Silver Queen. In the fall, winter squashes, carrots, pumpkins, turnips, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, and many varieties of apples become available as frost sets in and winter takes over.

We offer fresh baked bread from Hartford Baking Company, every day.

Our retail location is at 851 Willard Avenue, at the intersection of Willard Ave and Garfield St in Newington. Look for the signs and the red and white striped awnings on our antique farm wagons, overflowing with tasty vegetables!
